PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip part retaining device for easily retaining a chip part element body and for retaining the element body in a proper position. SOLUTION: When driving a suction device, a retention space 11 is vacuumized via a peripheral side surface 11a and a chip part element body 3 is attracted to the peripheral side surface 11a, thus retaining the chip part element body 3 at the retention space 11. On the other hand, when stopping the suction device, the retained state of the retained chip part element body 3 can be canceled. |
