PURPOSE: To make it possible to prevent the occurrence of fire in rolling stock by providing an electromagnetic no-fuse breaker for interrupting main electric circuit near batteries, attaching a thermal switch to parts on charger side, and providing a control circuit capable of operating the no-fuse breaker at the same time with the operation of the thermal switch. CONSTITUTION: An electromagnetic type no-fuse breaker 11 for main electric circuit interruption is inserted and connected between a battery 6 and a rectifier 4. In addition, an exciting coil 12 of an electromagnetic relay is connected in series with the thermal switch 13 to the contacts 12-1 and 12-2 of the electromagnetic relay and to an exciting coil 11' for contact trip of the electromagnetic type no-fuse breaker 11 for main electric circuit interruption at both poles of the electromagnetic relay in addition to a voltage relay 7. The thermal switch 13 is attached to a coil, core or a cooling plate of a rectifier 4 as parts constituting the battery for detecting an abnormal temperature rise by short-circuit during charging operation. |
