METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR OPERATION CONTROL OF SLICING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut a work excellently controlling effectively the increase of cut resistance without decreasing efficiency in working. SOLUTION: In a slicing machine wherein a work 30 is revolved while it is held by a work holding drive means 19, and the work 30 is cut with a blade 10 by feeding for cut, a value corresponding to cut resistance in cutting operation is detected with a load sensor 38 or the like which detects a load in a work axial direction. Revolution speed of the work 30 is controlled so that the detected value is brought close to a preliminarily set target value.
