PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition by blending a specific polymerization type phenolic compound with a thioether-based compound, extremely excellent in hot water resistance when made into a molding, useful as an electric pot for boiling water and retaining hot water, etc. SOLUTION: This stabilized polyolefin composition is obtained by blending (A) 100 pts.wt. of a polyolefin with (B) 0.05-5 pts.wt. of a polymerization type phenol compound of formula I (R is a 4-8C tertiary alkyl; R1 is a 1-5C alkyl or alkoxy; R2 and R3 are each H, a 1-5C alkyl or alkoxy; R4 to R9 are each H or a 1-5C alkyl; (n) is a positive integer), having 1,000-4,000 molecular weight, (C) 0.05-5 pts.wt. of a thioether-based compound of formula II (R10 is a 8-28C alkyl) e.g. 1-[β-octylthio)ethyl]-3-(octylthio)cyclohexane, etc.] and preferably (D) 0.05-1 pt.wt. of a phosphorus-based antioxidant (e.g. distearyl-pentaerythritol- diphosphite, etc.).
