FIELD: burning of gaseous, liquid and solid fuels for heating liquids, gases and solids; decontamination of gaseous, liquid and solid wastes by burning; oxidation of ammonia; production of formaldehyde by partial oxidation of methane, etc. SUBSTANCE: method consists in performing exothermic catalytic reactions with catalyst made in the form of low-volume checker located in reactor with fluidized layer of particles of solid dispersed heat-transfer agent. Catalytically active checker is made in the form of immovable block whose members are made in the form of Rashig rings. Catalytically active checker has catalyst corresponding to catalytic process to be conducted; starting substances for proceeding of process are delivered to fluidized layer of inert heat-transfer agent in gaseous, liquid of solid state. Solid dispersed material at melting point above temperature of process is used as inert heat-transfer agent. EFFECT: avoidance of expensive spherical catalyst at retained high efficiency of catalytic process; increased service life of catalyst by 50 to 100 times. 4 cl |
