FIELD: production of powders. SUBSTANCE: plasma-chemically prepared copper oxide powder is reduced at 210-230 C in glycerol medium in presence of ammonium carbonate at copper oxide/ammonium carbonate/glycerol ratio 1: (0.15-0.20):(1.10-1.20). Reaction products are then cooled, powder is separated from organic solution, washed, and dried.
