METHOD OF HEMOSTASIS OF PENETRATING ULCER OF POSTERIOR DUODENAL WALL

FIELD: medicine, surgery. SUBSTANCE: method deals with tamponade and hermetization of ulcerous crater by fixing in the latter mucosa-free fragment upon a stem of duodenal wall that is cut during duodenoplastics. Twenty two patients with penetrating bleeding ulcers of posterior duodenal wall participated in the method. Average stationary period is 13.5 days against 15.25 days after common duodenoplastics. Moreover, additional ulcerous crater vascularization might enable to obtain better ulcer healing without postoperative pancreatitis. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
