FIELD: mechanical engineering; piston internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: piston engine has round cylindrical housing which form, together with shaft, five non-round cylindrical spaces accommodating pistons with connecting rods, movable plate resting on oblique plate and connected with connecting rods. Oblique plate is connected with housing through thrust and support bearings. Sun gear of planetary gear train is made on oblique plate. Gear ratio of planetary train is 5. Carrier of planetary gear train is connected with shaft. Timing gear has two intake and two exhaust ports, each arranged diametrically opposite to each other near top dead center. One of shaft supports is made in oblique plate in the form of sliding bearing. EFFECT: increased mechanical efficiency of engine owing to decrease in centrifugal forces acting from pistons on housing wall. |
