FIELD: cleaning of potable water, may be used in home conditions. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has housing with cover, inlet and outlet pipes, thin-walled perforated container with sorbent and filtering member coaxially positioned within housing. Housing is formed as sleeve with perforated bottom. Height ratio of sleeve side wall perforated part and side wall is 1:3-5. Height ratio of sorbent layer in the sleeve and sleeve is 1:1.05-1.15. Such construction allows flow resistance to be reduced by 25-35%, service life to be increased by 1.3-2 times and sorbent consumption to be reduced by 5-15%. Besides, self-cleaning and filter regeneration without disconnection from main pipeline are provided. EFFECT: increased efficiency, wider operational capabilities, improved quality of cleaned water and increased service life. |
