摘要 FIELD: optical instruments. SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring relative refraction index by means of refraction meter which has two Michelson interferometers. Said refraction meter provides possibility to record total number of waves in control area of measured medium when light beam runs from light source to receiver through its intermediate reflection by opaque or semitransparent mirrors. One mirror is replaced by interferometer, for example, by Mach-Zander interferometer which provides possibility to add waves which run from light source to receiver without intermediate reflection and to detect Doppler effect when device moves. Added waves in different interferometers are compared against difference in their number. Number of waves which is measured by Michelson interferometer does not depend on device movement and is used for reference data. Number of waves which is measured by Mach-Zander interferometer is equal to half of that number and it depends on speed and direction of device movement according to Doppler effect. If comparison shows that ratio of numbers of waves measured by Mach-Zander interferometer and by Michelson interferometer is equal to 1/2, then movement in direction of beam is absent. Deviation from this value in some direction shows level of detected speed and movement direction with respect to electromagnetic vacuum. EFFECT: increased functional capabilities.
