PURPOSE: To provide a low-cost and high efficient hot water supplying device by a method wherein there is provided a second three-way valve for changing over so that a hot water supplying pipe at a hot water supplying source may be communicated with either one of a hot water supplying pipe at a second hot water storing tank or a hot water supplying branch pipe. CONSTITUTION: After a first three-way valve 6 is set at a changing-over position indicated by a solid line, and a second three-way vaive 7 is set to a changing-over position indicated by a dotted line, a heat exchanger 4 in a refrigerant circuit is operated as an evaporalor, a pump 5 is operated so as to cause water in a first hot water storing tank 1 to be circulated through a water supplying pipe 10, a first circulating pipe 11, the heat exchanger 4, a second circulating pipe 12, a first three-way valve 6 and a circuiating branch pipe 13 as indicated by a dotted arrow line. With such an arrangement as above, water in the first hot water storing tank l is cooled and cold heat is stored. In this way, it is possible to utilize the first hot water storiring tank 1 as a cold heat storing tank, store cold water by a night-time electrical power or the like by a simple configuration and to reduce a cooling load during a day time in summer season, so that it is possible to reduce cost and to improve efficiency due to less mixing of hot water and cold water. |
