PURPOSE: To obtain high sharpness and rapid processing aptitude and to equalize coloring resistance on a white background after long time storage since the manufacture of the color photosensitive material to that after processing by incorporating a specified compound in photographic constituent layers. CONSTITUTION: The photographic constituent layer contains at least one of compounds represented by formula I and/or formula II and at least one of compounds represented by formula III in an amount of >=20mg/m<2> . In formula I-III, each of R<11> -R<14> is an H atom or a substituent; (n) is 0, 1, or 2; M is an H or alkali metal atom; each of R<1> and R<3> is an electron withdrawing group having a Hammett's substituent constantσp of >=0.3; each of R<2> and R<4> is an alkyl or aryl group; each of L<1> -L<5> is a methine group; M<1> is an H or an atomic group or a metal atom ionizable to a univalent cation; and each of R<21> -R<24> is an H or halogen atom or an optionally substituted alkyl group or an aryl, alkylamino, arylamino, heterocyclic group, or the like.
