PURPOSE: To reduce the switching frequency by functioning an outdoor heat exchanger as an evaporator or a condenser when the difference between the total of an indoor heating loads and the value of the total of indoor cooling loads is more than the minimum heat absorbing amount or larger than the minimum radiating amount. CONSTITUTION: The total amount of indoor heating loads and the total amount of indoor cooling loads are detected. When the difference of both the totals of both the loads is larger than the minimum heat absorbing amount, outdoor heat exchangers 11a, 11b are functioned as evaporators, and a heating is mainly operated. When the difference between the total amount of indoor cooling loads and the value of the total amount of the indoor heating loads is larger than the minimum radiating amount, outdoor heat exchangers 11a, 11b are functioned as condensers, and a cooling is mainly operated. Thus, the switching frequency can be reduced, and the switching operations of the exchangers 11a, 11b can be smoothly conducted. |
