PURPOSE: To avoid a magnetic field, generated from a heating coil, by n inexpensive constitution, by forming a differential angle between three sets of ferrite cores adjacent to each other smaller than a differential angle between the other ferrite cores adjacent to each other. CONSTITUTION: When a high frequency current is supplied to a heating coil 11 of an induction heating cooker from an inverter constituted on a printed wiring board 18, a magnetic field is generated from the coil 11, to cross this magnetic field with an iron-made pan mounted on a top plate 17, to generate an eddy current in the pan, so as to heat the pan by Joule's heat. Of nine bar- shaped ferrite cores having almost a similar shape and arranged with a space apart in the center periphery of the coil 11 in the vicinity of the heating coil in an opposite side to a side of positioning the load pan, that is, in the vicinity under the coil 11, an angle formed by three sets of the two ferrite cores 15f, 15g and 15g, 15h and 15i adjacent to each other is formed smaller than the angle formed by six sets of combination of the other cores 15a, 15b to 15e, 15f adjacent to each other, to increase distribution density between the cores 15f, 15I as viewed from the center of the heating coil, and spreading a magnetic flux can be contracted. |
