PURPOSE: To improve operability by plurality setting a specified time for discriminating the fixing of the line of sight of a user and appropriately setting the specified time according to the use state or the frequency of an actuated specified function. CONSTITUTION: In this equipment, for example, a function for actuating a driver 19 for switching the angle of view of a lens, a driver 17 for switching the screen size and a driver 14 for switching whether data is imprinted or not is executed by gazing an index corresponding to each function. Then, the necessary gazing time is set to be made difference according to the content of the function for the display of liquid crystal segments 22a to 22j.
