PURPOSE: To secure reliable and stable insulation by preventing dielectric breakdown by gas and a melted material or the like generated by an arc. CONSTITUTION: Insulating side plates 73 of a grid device 72 are arranged by leaving a spaceδB to a fixed side arc traveling plate 71. Projections 100 which are protrusively arranged from an apparatus body 10 and are composed of an insulating material, are interposed between the insulating side plates 73 and the fixed side arc running plate 71. The spaceδB between the fixed side arc running plate 71 and arc-extinguishing magnetic plates 74 in close vicinity to this, is made wider than respective intervalsδA between the plural arc- extinguishing magnetic plates 74.
