PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prediction supporting device and a prediction supporting method by which the judgment and correction of the reliability of a predicted result is facilitated. SOLUTION: This device has a calculation means 2 calculating a predicted value base on an imparted factor. The calculation means 2 has plural calculation mechanisms. The range of a predicted value is divided into plural ranges and each calculation mechanism takes charge of either one of the ranges. When the factor is imparted, each calculation mechanism calculates the possibility that each predicted value becomes the value of its own charge. As a result, the predicted value is obtained as each possibility that the value is not only one value and becomes the range of plural values and the judgment of the reliability of the predicted value is facilitated. When all of the calculation mechanism of the calculation means 2 are not matched with the imparted factor, a detection means 4 detects this unmatching. In this case, an adjusting means 5 adjusts the calculation mechanism of the calculation means 2. |
