PURPOSE: To make it possible to suppress the spread of the ink drops sticking onto a transparent substrate by setting the kinetic energy possessed by the ink drops injected from a nozzle within a prescribed range. CONSTITUTION: The kinetic energy E of the ink drops injected from the nozzle 2 at the time of sticking the ink drops to the transparent substrate 5 is set in the range of 2×10<-11> <E<6.5×10<-9> (Joule). Namely, the size of the ink drops is eventually determined by the diameter (d) of the nozzle 2 and the nozzle diameter (d) is adequately about half the size of the ink drops in order to fill the prescribed amt. of the ink drops to the efficient drops in pixel parts and is adequately about 0.7 times in an ink jet system of an on-demand system. The protrusion of the ink drops at a velocity V=10m/sec does not arise any more if the velocity V of the ink drops is changed by using the nozzle 2 having, for example, the diameter d=20μm. |
