摘要 |
PURPOSE: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of obtaining excellent image quality at the visual field angle in a wide range and having high numerical aperture. CONSTITUTION: This device is equipped with an array substrate 15 where plural scanning lines 2 and signal lines 3 are crossed in a matrix state on one principal plane of 1st insulating substrate and one pixel consisting of a thin film transistor 13 being a switching element and a pixel electrode 1 connected to the transistor 13 are formed to be arrayed in the vicinity of an intersection of the lines 2 and 3; a counter substrate disposed by leaving a specified gap with the substrate 15 and constituted by forming a common electrode on one principal surface of a 2nd insulating substrate; and liquid crystal interposed between the substrate 15 and the counter substrate. Furthermore, at least two arraying states of liquid crystal molecules 7 exist in one pixel and a boundary in the arraying states of the liquid crystal molecules is positioned on the diagonal line of the electrode 1. |
