PURPOSE: To reduce the storage capacity of a recorder required for appreciatively watching an image watched from various glance directions. CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with an image input means 1 for picking up the image of an object and inputting it, distance information calculating means 4 for calculating the information of a distance to the object based on the image inputted from the image input means 1, moving direction/moving amount calculating means 3 for calculating the moving direction and moving amount of the image input means 1 based on the image inputted from the image input means 1, and image generating means 10 for generating the image as watched from the prescribed glance direction by performing prescribed processing of the image inputted from the image input means 1 based on the calculated distance to the object, moving direction and moving amount so that the image can be appreciatively watched by any arbitrary reproducing procedure as a stereoscopic image or a planar image with any arbitrary glance position and glance direction to the image picked-up object. |
