PURPOSE: To provide an electrostatic latent image transfer system image forming method by which an electrostatic latent image is stably transferred for a long term without causing the lowering of the charge potential by or the increase of dark attenuation with the lapse of time in the case of using a monolayer type organic electrophotographic photoreceptor, and to provide an electrostatic latent image transfer system image forming device used for the method. CONSTITUTION: In this image forming method; an electrostatic recording body 10 is brought into contact with the surface of the monolayer type organic electrophotographic photoreceptor 1 after forming the electrostatic latent image on the photoreceptor 1, and the electrostatic latent image is transferred on the recording body 10 by impressing voltage between the photoreceptor 1 and the recording body 10, then the electrostatic latent image on the recording body 10 is developed and visualized by a developing device 12. In the method, the electrostatic latent image is formed on the photoreceptor 1 in an atmosphere isolated from the atmosphere in the device 12 and the peripheral part of the device 12. It is desirable to fill the peripheral atmosphere of the photoreceptor 1 with the outside air of the image forming device, and it is desirable to heat the photoreceptor 1 by the heated outside air. |
