BOTH SIDE COPYING DEVICE WITH CHAPTER DELIMITER MODE

PURPOSE: To effectively utilize paper for chapter delimiters by controlling the operation of a paper transporting device according to setting when either of a chapter delimiter one side copying mode or chapter delimiter in both side copying mode is set. CONSTITUTION: Either of the chapter delimiter in one side copying mode or the chapter delimiter in both side copying mode is further set and a paper transportion control means controls the operation of the paper transporting device 38 when the chapter delimiter mode is set. The sequence of paper feeding from a paper feed section 21, a second paper feed section 22 and a both side tray 24 to a printer 20 and the sequence of paper discharge after copying are determined in correspondence to the respective modes. As a result, the copying of the image of an assigned original on the front surface of the paper for chapter delimiter is possible even when either of the chapter delimiter in one side coupling mode or the chapter delimiter in both side copying mode is set. The image of the original assigned to the chapter delimiter is copied on the front surface of the paper and the image of the next original is copied on the rear surface thereof when the chapter delimiter both side copying mode is set.
