PURPOSE: To prevent part of a body such as a face and a hand from touching a touch panel during a telephone conversation, etc., to cause malfunction by providing a switching means for allowing and disallowing touch panel input. CONSTITUTION: While part of the body such as a finger and the face is in contact with a flexible key 4 when the power source is turned on, an input signal is sent to an input signal control means 16. Here, when an input acknowledgement signal is sent to an input signal control means 16 from the touch panel input ON/OFF switching means 2, the input signal control means 16 sends the signal from an input means 14 to a control means 15. When an input negative acknowledgement signal is sent from the touch panel input ON/OFF switching means 2 to the input signal control means 16, on the other hand, the input signal control means 16 does not send the signal from the input means 4 to the signal control means 15. Therefore, the operability of the telephone set which tends to have multifunctional application and be reduced in size is improved. |
