PURPOSE: To provide the multi-spot communication equipment which inexpensively constitutes a simultaneous decoding function of plural terminals and a picture synthesizing function of pictures at plural spots with a high reliability and realizes optimization and improvement of efficiency of picture communication among many spots. CONSTITUTION: Encoded pictures received from plural terminals by line interface parts 1a to 1d are decoded by a picture decoding part 7, and a system control part 10 performs such adjustment that the decoding processing capability of encoded pictures received from all terminals doesn't exceed the processing capability of the picture decoding part 7. Reception capabilities corresponding to processing capabilities assigned to individual terminals based on the adjustment result are transmitted to respective other-party terminals through line interface parts 1a to 1d. |
