PURPOSE: To provide a on-vehicle navigation device capable of easily being set to a destination searched on a map. CONSTITUTION: An operator searches his destination on an atlas and then inputs the name of the atlas, the applicable page, and the section area including his destination to this device. Corresponding to this, a control part 21 obtains from an atlas data 254 absolute coordinates of the section area corresponding to an identification information of the section area on the inputted applicable page of the atlas, and displays a map on the map information corresponding to the absolute coordinates obtained. Namely, the section area including the destination inputted by the operator is displayed. And the operator inputs his destination on the map displayed on a display part 27. |
