PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved modular connector receptor by which single or plural modular electric connectors can be reliably installed in respective receptors so that the connectors can be removed from the receptors or can be replaced with connectors according as desired. SOLUTION: A connector receptor 40 has either of an base part 41 or a wall plate having a separated tooth and an elastic hook fastening part arranged so that a connector 43 can be installed in the receptor so as to be releasable and can be engaged with slot 48 of a modular connector. The connector has a corner part slot 66 arranged so as to engage with a horizontal directional stopper formed on a wall plate. A steel wall plate receptor is integrally formed of conductive metal, and is fastened to a shielding connector formed in the receptor so as to be releasable, and at the same time, it is formed in a shape capable of grounding the connector so as to be electrically conductive.
