PURPOSE: To provide the same gradation and sensitivity when either of general processing and superquick processing is performed by containing a specified anionic water-soluble polymer and a specified alkali-soluble polymer dispersion having an average particle size within a specified range. CONSTITUTION: An anionic water-soluble polymer represented by the formula I and an alkail-soluble polymer dispersion with an average particle size of 0.01-0.5μm represented by the formula II are contained in a hydrophilic colloid layer constituting a photosensitive material, and the gradations obtained when processings differed in color developing time are performed are substantially the same. In the formulae, R<1> represents hydrogen atom or the like, L represents a divalent quandrivalent connecting group, M represents hydrogen atom or a cation, (m) represents 0 or 1, (n) represents an integer of 1-3, D and D2 each represent the repeat unit of an ethylenic unsaturated monomer. (y) and (z) each represent the weight percent ratio of each monomer component, wherein (y) is 0-05, (z) is 5-100, and y+z=100. (p) and (q) each represent weight percent ratio of each monomer, wherein (p) is 0-85, (q) is 15-100, and p+q=100.
