PURPOSE: To provide a system in which a mobile terminal equipment itself directly acquires specific information by a data communication system from a data management center not through a specific information exclusive writer having been installed in a distributer's shop in the case of initial registration of specific information (e.g. telephone number) to the mobile terminal equipment to identify itself prior to the start of the use of the mobile terminal equipment. CONSTITUTION: THE system is made up of a data management center 10 storing specific information to be assigned to a mobile terminal equipment prior to start of the use in order to initially register the specific information to identify itself to the mobile terminal equipment 1, a telephone line network 8 interconnecting the mobile terminal equipment 1 and the data management center 10, and a means (e.g. a modular terminal 2) provided to one end of the telephone line network 8 connecting to the data management center 10 and to connect the mobile terminal equipment 1. The data management center 10 send prescribed specific information to the mobile terminal equipment 1 in response to the call from the mobile terminal equipment 1 and the mobile terminal equipment 1 receiving the specific information via the communication line network registers the specific information into its own memory. |
