PURPOSE: To reduce an irreversible capacity of a carbon material negative electrode for a Li secondary battery, to increase its capacity, and to improve an output density and cycle characteristics of the Li secondary battery. CONSTITUTION: A carbon material adsorbing or carrying organic matter larger than a distribution coefficient of electrolyte relative to carbon particles is used as a negative electrode, or the organic matter is added to the electrolyte. As a result, an irreversible capacity of a negative electrode is reduced, its capacity is increased, and an output density and cycle characteristics of a Li secondary battery are improved. |
