<p>PURPOSE: To provide a process for producing color filters which are formed with fine patterns of multiple colors having a uniform thickness and differences in level of high accuracy free from a defect in follow-up characteristic and free from missing of pixels on a substrate and have excellent heat resistance with the good follow-up characteristic of a photosensitive film and good workability. CONSTITUTION: This process for producing color filters includes 1. a stage for sticking photosensitive resin layer 2 colored to second and subsequent colors by forming spaces 5 between pixels in such a manner that these layers face the substrate 4, 2. a transfer stage of transferring the photosensitive resin layers 2 colored to the second and subsequent colors from a base film 1 to the spaces 5 between the pixels by executing heating between developing stages and a stage for (i) a stage for rinsing with developers, (ii) a stage for removing the developers by washing with water and (iii) a stage for removing the water of (ii) by heating and drying before the developing stages of the second and subsequent colors.</p> |
