PURPOSE: To prepare the painted-out character or engraved character of beautiful contour with machine working in a short time by preparing a vector toward the direction vertical to inline data with a point on the inline data as a start point. CONSTITUTION: Data are inputted to a data input part 1. These input data are extended into a bit map, an outline data preparing part 3 prepares the outline data of the contour and an inline data preparing part 3 prepares inline data by fine line processing respectively. Then, the vector is prepared by extending the vector vertical to the inline data from a point A on the inline data toward the outline data. When the vector is extended and touches the outline data, a circle preparing part 9 prepares the circle having the point A as a center and the length of the vector as a radius. In this case, when the prepared circle just touches the outline data and has no intersection, the line width at the position of the point A is calculated as the diameter of this circle and stored. |
