PURPOSE: To diagnose whether sound volume setting can be normally performed to a sound volume control part by a software or not according to a diagnostic program and to display the diagnosed result. CONSTITUTION: When a user instructs the execution of a software sound volume diagnostic program 32, a software sound volume setting program 31 sets a sound volume value to a sound volume control part 2, sound volume data are sent out and outputted from a speaker 1, and the set value is stored in a set value saving area 4. Concerning the software sound volume setting program 31, the set value is read from the sound volume control part 2, and the saved value stored in the set value saving area 4 and the read value from the sound volume control part 2 are reported to the software sound volume diagnostic program 32. When the compared result of the saved value and the read value shows coincidence, the software sound volume diagnostic program 32 reports the set value, read value and normal state to a display device 5 but when the compared result of the saved value and read value shows non-matching, the set value, read value and abnormal state are reported to the display device 5. |
