PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moon data displaying timepiece for immediate recognition of the moon phase of the moon at an arbitrary time and a time angle at that time. SOLUTION: A timepiece has a hand-type analog timepiece function, and at the same time a plurality of moon-phase displaying bodies 31a-31l for displaying the moon-phase states from a new moon to a full moon being arranged in a layout corresponding to the time angle of the moon on a timepiece face. Also, a frequency-dividing circuit 4 for counting a current time, a RAM 9 for storing position information on the earth, and a control part 7 for calculating the hour angle data and moon age data of a moon at that time from time information which is counted by the frequency-dividing circuit and the position information stored at the RAM are provided. Also, the timepiece has a means for displaying moon-phase display bodies 31a-31l at a position corresponding to the hour angle data based on the hour angle data and the moon age data of the moon being calculated by the control part in the moon-phase state corresponding to the moon age data. |
