PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflection type color filter which is simple and good in quality relating to the constitution of the black matrix of color filters used for a reflection type liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: A light reflection film 3 is formed on a glass substrate 11 consisting of a light absorption layer 2 or light absorber on a glass substrate 1. This reflection type color filter is produced by forming respective prescribed color filter pixels 5R, 5G, 5B on the light reflection film 3, then removing the light reflection film of the boundary parts not formed with the respective color filter pixels with the respective color filter pixels as a mask resist to expose the surface of the light absorption layer formed on the glass substrate, thereby forming an optically black matrix. |
