The control unit includes a displacement transducer which has a flexible upper surface with a touch sensitive matrix positioned below it. The matrix allows the user to use his finger (320) to select a particular two dimensional position. A signal is generated which is representative of the position of the user finger on the touch sensitive surface. The displacement transducer is mounted perpendicular to the touch sensitive surface between a rest position and a working position. |
