PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the polyester film support improved in the wet and dry adhesion to a hydrophilic colloidal emulsion. SOLUTION: The image forming element comprises a photosensitive image forming layer, and the polyester support obtained by coating the support with a self-cross-linkable polyurethane derived from a prepolymer having its chain extended by an aliphatic polyamine and having terminal isocyanate with an N-methyrolhydrazizo group added to the terminal, in an amount of >=0.17g/m<2> . This prepolymer is derived from (a) diisocyanate and (b) polyesterpolyol and has water-dispersible carboxylic salt side groups on the polymer chain.
