PURPOSE: To provide a communication system sending/receiving image data generated optionally and a transmitter to which the communication system is applied. CONSTITUTION: Upon the input of a hand-written input by an input pen 18 onto a touch panel 17a in succession to the input of a routine text code number based on a routine text table of a ROM 28, a control section 27 recognizes its display position in the unit of blocks of display positions 1-6, divides the image into a pattern in 4-dot in the lateral direction and converts it into dial number data based on an image data conversion table in the ROM 28 and allows a speaker 30 to sound a corresponding DTMF signal. Upon the receipt of a series of numeral data designating a routine text and a dot pattern data, the routine text and the image are constituted again by the combinations of the dot pattern data based on the routine table and image data conversion table and displayed by a display section 17 based on the display position information included in the received message data. |
