<p>PURPOSE: To form a transparent nonlinear ristance film of low breakdown voltage, by using ultrafine particles having grain diameter of specified dimension, as zinc oxide particles of a resistance film containing zince oxide particles. CONSTITUTION: The title transparent nonlinear resistance film contains zinc oxide ultrafine particles having diameters of at most 0.1μm. Coating material for forming the transparent nonlinear resistance film contains zinc oxide ultrafine particles having diameters of at most 0.1μm and binder. A transparent varistor is a film formed on a circuit or an electrode formed on a substrate composed of plastic or glass. The transparent varistor has excellent transparency, and the breakdown voltage is low, so that a circuit like an electron display can be operated at a low voltage, and excellent massproductivity and manufacturing cost can be realized.</p> |
