PURPOSE: To reduce in cost and to so improve as to enhance the combustion efficiency and to reduce in weight by simplifying the assembling of a refrigerant heater for heat exchanging combustion gas burnt by a gas burner with refrigerant to feed the heated refrigerant to a compressor to operate heating by simplifying components. CONSTITUTION: The refrigerant heater comprises a burner such as a gas burner provided at the lower part, and a heat exchanger 4 connected to the upper part of the burner to heat refrigerant returned to a compressor in a refrigerant tube provided in the zigzag state of the outer surface by combustion gas passing the inner passage 12. The body case 40 of the exchanger is formed of two split cases 43, 44 which can be connected and assembled by the engaging protrusion 48 and engaging recess 49 of upper end, the inner surface of the case 40 is easily coated with heat resistant film, and the cases 43, 44 can be extrusion molded without warpage to obtain the heater for improving the quality. |
