PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a solar cell from the effect of the atmosphere by a method wherein a front plate and a rear support plate, which are made of glass, are provided, the solar cell is provided between both plates of the front and support plates and a cast resin, which can be cured, is filled in the space between both plates of the front and support plates. SOLUTION: A solar cell is arranged and fixed on a support plate provided horizontally at a desired position, then, single cells are electrically connected with each other and are electrically connected with the outside at desired positions along the peripheral edge of the glass support plate. Then, a bonding agent strip is deposited along the peripheral edge of the glass support plate by an extrusion molding. The peripheral edge of a solar cell module is sealed with this strip and a gap is held between two sheets of the plates. The fragments of a metallic tube are respectively provided at the two corners, which oppose diagonally to each other, of the solar cell and after a front plate is arranged, a cast resin containing a polyether polyurethane is injected in the space between the front and support plates as a cast resin through a lower pipe and the air is exhausted through an upper pipe. Thereby, the solar cell is protected from the effect of the atmosphere, such as a temperature change, radioactive rays and a humidity. |
