PURPOSE: To provide a computer system capable of preserving the learning information of plural batches for basic information of one batch in an external storage device for a conversion dictionary. CONSTITUTION: A basic information dictionary 13 storing basic information of one batch showing a basic character conversion rule and at least one learning information dictionary 12 storing learning information of one batch showing the character conversion rule for which learning is performed by a user are separated and the dictionaries are stored in an external recording device 10. At an FEP start command 11, the existence places of the two dictionaries 13 and 14 are described. When a front end processor 21 is started, dictionary existence place information 22 showing the existence places of the two dictionaries 13 and 14 is stored in a memory 20. The front end processor 21 finds out a conversion dictionary (the combination of the basic information dictionary and the learning information dictionary) to be referred from the existence place shown by this dictionary existence place information 22. |
