PURPOSE: To provide a laser scanning exposed type forming material excellent in storage stability which can form an image with high sensitive and high resolution by adapting a constitution in which a specified mask image forming layer such as cobalt (III) complex is combined with a photosensitive resin layer. CONSTITUTION: After a photosensitive resin layer 3 is applied onto a hydrophilic support body 4, a mask image forming layer 2 is laminated thereon. The mask image forming layer 2 has cobalt (III) complex coordinated with ammonia or primary amine, a compound colored or decolored by ammonia or primary amine, a photoreductive compound capable of reducing the cobalt (III) complex by light. The mask image forming layer 2 can be formed by a coating method for dispersing or dissolving a mask image forming layer composition into a solvent to prepare a coating solution, and applying it onto the photosensitive resin layer 3 followed by drying to form the layer, or a transfer method for forming the mask image forming layer 2 on the strippable support body 1, laminating the mask image forming layer 2 on the photosensitive resin layer 3 by heating and/or pressurizing, and then stripping only the support body 1. |
