PURPOSE: To accelerate restoration from an error and improve the reliability of data processing by making a data transfer cycle long or lowering a clock frequency according to the frequency of retrial processing. CONSTITUTION: This data processor is equipped with a retrial signal generation part 18, a clock number counting part 14, a reference clock number holding part 16, a reference clock number change part 17, and a clock number comparison part 15. With a start signal indicating the start of the data transfer cycle, a clock number counters is reset. The clock number counter counts the clock number from the start of the data transfer cycle and generates a signal turning off the data transfer cycle when the difference between the clock number and a reference clock number reaches a certain value. The reference clock number change part 17 changes the reference clock number according to the frequency of retrial to make the length of the data transfer cycle period according to an increase in the frequency of retrial. |
