PURPOSE: To obtain high speed rotation processing of an image by providing an image shift section applying coordinate transformation to image patterns arranged in 2-dimension in X and Y directions with a prescribed constant. CONSTITUTION: A data request signal is outputted from the image converter 10 to an image memory and while a data request signal is asserted, picture element data are sequentially inputted synchronously with a data strobe signal from the image memory. Data of each picture element of a row arranged in the direction X are sequentially inputted and when the input of the data of the row is finished, another row is selected in the direction Y and data of each picture element arranged on the row are sequentially inputted. Data shifted in the X direction are stored in an X-tilt memory 17. On the other hand, a shift amount in the direction Y corresponding to X coordinates is stored in a Y-shift memory 12 and when an X coordinate Xa is entered, a shift amount in Y direction ys=F(Xa) corresponding to the Xa is read from the Y shift memory 12 and given to a Y tilt, controller 16. |
