PURPOSE: To provide a terminal equipment whose use is immediately started by a purchaser even in a sales shop in which a telephone number writer is not installed by mounting a memory storing a telephone number in advance in the manufacture stage of the terminal equipment. CONSTITUTION: A memory 1 in which a telephone number is already written is mounted in the terminal equipment. When dialing is made through depression of a key pad 3, a communication section 4 makes a request of the connection of a network to a mobile body communication enterprise. In this case, a CPU 2 of the terminal equipment reads the telephone number required to identify the user in the network of the mobile body communication company from the memory 1 and sends the telephone number from the communication section 4. When the terminal equipment manufacturer receives the telephone number from the mobile body communication company in a form of a floppy disk, the telephone number is read by a ROM writer and the read telephone number is written in a memory chip such as a ROM. The terminal equipment manufacturer mounts the ROM in which the telephone number is written to the terminal equipment in the manufacture stage of the terminal equipment. |
