<p>PURPOSE: To provide a sound absorbing element and a silenced elbow having a high silencing effect in a low frequency sound region with a small pressure drop to be easily manufactured. CONSTITUTION: A silencing elbow is constituted by mounting a sound absorbing element 10, having wedge-shaped ridge lines 12a, 12b, 13a, 13b to the formed of a porous plate charged with a sound absorbing material in the inside, so that the ridge line is placed along inlet/outlet plates 103, 104 between upper/ lower plates 101, 102 of the elbow 100. Accordingly, the wedge-shaped sound absorbing element 10, by having a thickness in a sound absorbing part, is excellent in a sound absorbing effect of a low frequency sound, and to reduce a self generating sound. Charging a sectional area of a flow path is decreased also to guide a fluid, so as to reduce fluid resistance.</p> |
