<p>Thiocarbamic acid derivatives represented by general formula (I) and salts thereof, wherein m is 0 or 1; A is 4,4-dimethyl-2-pentynyl or the like; R?1 and R3¿ are each hydrogen, formyl or lower alkyl; Z is nitrogen or CH; R2 is hydrogen, lower alkyl, lower acyl or like; R4 is a phenyl group having an arbitrary substituent or a 5- or 6-membered heterocycle containing at least one atom of oxygen, nitrogen or sulfur or a combination of two or more of them, the heterocycle being optionally substituted by an arbitrary group. They provide an antihypercholesterolemic agent, an antihyperlipemic agent, and a remedy or preventive for arteriosclerosis, each being safer than conventional drugs and exhibiting excellent anticholesterol activity.</p> |
