PURPOSE: To confirm a detection range corresponding to a selected sensor in the midst of exposure by displaying the detection range corresponding to the selected sensor when specified operation is executed in the midst of exposure operation equal to or above a specified time. CONSTITUTION: When a detection (range) designating button is operated and a detection (range) setting switch SW3 is turned on, a detection (range) optional selection mode is set, and a photographer can select the optional detection range. By rotating a dial clockwise in such a state, the detection range is moved to the right one by one on every click, and by rotating the dial counterclockwise, on the contrary, it is moved to the left one by one. For example, when a CCD-1 is selected as a line sensor for detecting a focus and an SPC-1 is selected as a photometric element, a measuring range at such a time is displayed. On the other hand, an LED-1 emits light as a light emitting element and the display frame of a finder visual field is lit. By performing the specified operation in the midst of the exposure operation equal to or above the specified time, the detection range corresponding to the selected sensor is displayed. |
