Fire hydrant with one=piece pipe - has corrosion-resistant internal surface forming valve seat and duplex seal working with valve plug

The hydrant has a one-piece pipe with sealed joints for water main and detachable cap. The plug (11) of the main valve (9) works against a seat and is actuated by a spindle guide in the pipe. The seat (1a) for the main valve incorporates a corrosion-resistant inner peripheral surface in the pipe (1), which also has corrosion-resistant mounting and fixing portions for one or more supports. A duplex seal (12) is included, against which the movable valve plug (11) works. Protection from corrosion can be provided by a coating of plastic, or internal enamelling, and the plug can be ball-shaped.
