The method involves sequential analysis of jamming signal levels arriving from secondary lobes of a main antenna (31), esp. when received at positions near to the EM axis of the antenna. The antenna (31) collects the signals and a sum channel and a difference channel are created. A correlator (35) and calculator analyse the amplitude and phase of the jamming signals, and a switch (50) and coupler (42) reinject amplitude and phase vectors into the received signals to null the jamming effect.
